"Making dogs happy one tail at a time" that is the philosophy at Redbones Dog Bakery and Boutique. In fact, it's a dog-gone friendly place to shop, and dogs are always welcomed with free samples of the bakery's delicious treats. The aroma of heavenly baked goods enfolds you upon entering the bakery. That along with a friendly greeting from owner Martinique Lemke make this, the most wonderful experience for both you and your pampered pooch...
With scrumptious treats made with only the healthiest of ingredients such as fresh apples, carrots, pineapple, peanut butter and cheese, it will take more than a short leash to hold hungry doggies back from the all-natural gourmet bakery. These treats are so irresistibly good; your canine will roll over, play dead and beg for more. All the snacks available at Redbones are baked fresh in the store daily, sweetened with honey, vanilla and bananas - not sugar. Redbones now specializes in Kitty treats too! Redbones carries a full array of collars and leads, comfy beds, scented shampoos and spa products. It also has unique toys, feeders and bowls, and carriers for small dogs from all over the world.
Redbones is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the Nassau Humane Society. Every Saturday Redbones hosts an on-site adoption in its "barking lot", we call it Puppy Kisses. This is where you can hold an adorable, adoptable puppy from the Nassau Humane Society, and for $1 donation, get slathered in puppy kisses. The Save the Animal Rescue Society (STARS) and the Nassau County Animal Care and Control also participate in these exciting events.
These fundraising events give dogs and customers alike the opportunity to get a "new leash" on life. Many lovable dogs have found homes through this pet adoption program. Redbones is proud to be the "leader of the pack" in fundraising efforts for as long as puppies can remember.
There's nothing like Redbones and your dog will know the difference. Make no bones about it, Redbones Dog Bakery and Boutique continues its mission of "Making dogs happy, one tail at a time".
